Our History

Perrin’s Surface Solutions began in 2011, founded by the Perrins, a couple who had a vision of creating the kind of flooring store they would enjoy shopping in. Owner Mark Perrin worked for a decade with the previous owners of the business, and he fell in love with the process of helping customers find their perfect floor—and then see that it was beautifully installed.

“I worked for a decade with the previous owner in sales and estimating,” Mark Perrin says, “and I just fell in love with the business. I studied architecture in college and have background in residential and commercial planning and installation, and I really like DIY projects—so the flooring business was a natural fit. My wife and I wanted to engage in the process of helping customers find their perfect floor— and then see that it was beautifully installed.”
